Yvonne Zomerdijk
(born 1973)

Yvonnne Zomerdijk lives and works in the Netherlands. Her compositions have a great simplicity of line and form.  Her use of vibrant colours, exaggerated curves and shapes give her paintings a very distinct and highly original style.

Inspired by real people and events, her figures are simplified in form but capture the essence and emotion of her characters.

She has been exhibiting successfully in Holland and Denmark, so in 2011 we plan to bring her work to a new audience in the UK.
