Artist’s statement:
‘I see my work falling into two areas,
the real and the unseen.
The first area of work, the ‘real world’
is a figurative recording of life, predominantly architectural
studies of existing surroundings, often exploring the mathematics,
rhythm and movement within structures and the relationship between
man and his built environment. This induces a reminiscent response.
The second 'the unseen’ falls into abstraction.
Influenced and inspired by landscape and events the work focuses
on texture and pattern, on strata and rhythm. This induces an
emotional response.’
