Carla has always been inspired by nature. Growing up in a quiet village in the New Forest she would spend many hours observing the flowers and the everchanging landscape, on horseback or on foot.

She loves to layer her paints and experiment with new mediums. In fact she'll use anything from traditional oils and acrylics to glass paints, gold leaf and even polyfilla!

To Carla, there is nothing quite as exciting as starting with a blank canvas and gradually allowing new ideas to emerge as finished paintings.
